EDENFRAME — Copyright & Terms of Use
Copyright & Terms of Use
All characters, environments, designs, and associated creative elements remain the intellectual property of EDENFRAME and are protected by copyright. The Client receives a non-transferable license, granted within the framework of the approved project, allowing the use of the assets in any other universe, franchise, production, or project of the Client’s choice, subject to full compliance with these Terms of Use, EDENFRAME’s copyrights, the applicable license restrictions, and the ethical standards defined herein.
Unique Creative Exclusivity
Each original creation produced by EDENFRAME for the Client is conceived as a unique narrative and artistic work, developed specifically for the Client and the approved project.
Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing:
original creations specifically produced for the Client will not be resold, relicensed, or reused for other clients;
EDENFRAME does not create copies or reproductions intended to duplicate the creative and narrative identity of original creations commissioned for other clients;
the commissioned work remains a unique collaborative creation between the Client and EDENFRAME;
EDENFRAME retains all intellectual property, creative, and copyright rights in all original creations, designs, characters, environments, assets, and associated creative elements produced for the Client;
EDENFRAME retains the permanent right to display, promote, and use the original creations produced for the Client for portfolio, artistic, cinematic, educational, internal, and promotional purposes.
The Client may continue to use original EDENFRAME creations across multiple projects, sequels, episodes, cinematic productions, or universes, provided that such use complies with the license terms, ethical standards, and EDENFRAME guidelines.
Before making any major narrative, artistic, commercial, or production decision involving EDENFRAME creations, the Client is encouraged to contact the studio in order to discuss, analyze, and jointly assess the intended direction of the project and the planned use of the assets.
EDENFRAME may also provide creative support and narrative consultation regarding the development of the story, themes, artistic direction, and production context associated with its creations, in order to help maintain long-term consistency between the project, the identity of the assets, and the studio’s artistic and ethical standards.
Permitted Uses
Use of original EDENFRAME creations in multiple episodes, sequels, related productions, or other productions authorized under the license.
Promotional use within productions and projects authorized by this license, subject to full compliance with these Terms of Use.
Continued use across different universes and narrative continuities, in compliance with EDENFRAME guidelines.
Modifications, Integrity & Identification of Creations
Original EDENFRAME creations may, where necessary for their integration into an authorized production, be subject to technical, artistic, or narrative modifications, adaptations, or adjustments.
Such modifications may be made in order to adapt a creation to the staging, animation, narrative, lighting, texturing, compositing, or production requirements of the relevant project. They may, for example, include effects such as rain, sweat, dust, dirt, mud, wounds, makeup modifications, or other adaptations required by the production context.
Any modification must nevertheless preserve a sufficiently identifiable connection to the original creation produced by EDENFRAME. The Client may not modify a creation for the purpose of removing, concealing, or making unrecognizable the creative identity, origin, or contribution of EDENFRAME.
Authorized modifications do not constitute, under any circumstances, an assignment of intellectual property rights. The original creation and its fundamental creative elements remain the intellectual property of EDENFRAME, including when they have been adapted, transformed, or integrated into a production by the Client.
The Client may not present a creation originally produced by EDENFRAME as having been entirely created by the Client or by a third party, nor use a modification as a means of circumventing these Terms of Use.
The provisions relating to modifications must also be interpreted in accordance with the restrictions, ethical standards, and other conditions set out in this document.
EDENFRAME Credit & Recognition
When original EDENFRAME creations are incorporated into a production intended for public release, the Client acknowledges EDENFRAME’s creative contribution to the creation of such works.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Client agrees to include EDENFRAME in the credits of the relevant production, in a manner appropriate to the nature of the creation provided.
For audiovisual, cinematic, or similar works containing end credits, such recognition shall in particular appear in the end credits of the project.
The credit may take an appropriate form depending on the creation concerned, such as:
Creation by EDENFRAME
Character Creation by EDENFRAME
Environment Creation by EDENFRAME
3D Creation by EDENFRAME
The Client must not intentionally remove, conceal, or alter information identifying EDENFRAME as the creator or contributor of the relevant creation.
The fact that a creation has been modified, adapted, or integrated into a Client production does not remove the obligation to recognize EDENFRAME’s original contribution.
Credit requirements may be specified or adapted in writing depending on the nature of the project and its specific production constraints.
Prohibited Uses
Resale, redistribution, sublicensing, or transfer of original EDENFRAME creations or associated assets to third parties.
By exception, the Client is authorized to provide original EDENFRAME creations and associated assets to its contractors, subcontractors, partner studios, or collaborators exclusively for the technical, artistic, production, or post-production needs of the project(s) covered by the license granted to the Client. Such communication does not constitute an assignment, sublicense, or transfer of rights. It does not grant such third parties any intellectual property rights or any independent right to use, reuse, reproduce, redistribute, commercialize, or exploit EDENFRAME creations outside the missions entrusted to them on behalf of the Client. The Client remains fully responsible for ensuring compliance with these Terms of Use by any third party to whom it provides the assets.
Uploading original EDENFRAME creations or associated assets to marketplaces, asset libraries, stock platforms, or artificial intelligence training datasets.
Unauthorized modifications intended to remove, conceal, or alter the authorship, intellectual property ownership, or identification of EDENFRAME.
Repackaging EDENFRAME assets as generic reusable assets or commercial templates.
Use of original EDENFRAME creations in pornographic, explicit NSFW, fetishistic, or exploitative content.
Use of original EDENFRAME creations in projects promoting abuse, exploitation, human trafficking, glorification of violence, or morally degrading acts.
Use of EDENFRAME assets in projects intended to normalize, glorify, encourage, or commercially exploit immorality, corruption, depravity, or destructive behavior.
EDENFRAME operates according to its own ethical and spiritual standards inspired by biblical principles, including those reflected in the New World Translation of the Bible used by Jehovah’s Witnesses, as well as in the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses based on those same biblical principles, including teachings intended to provide a better understanding of and application of those principles, rather than according to contemporary cultural trends or morally relativistic interpretations.
The studio reserves the right to refuse, suspend, revoke, or discontinue any collaboration, production, or license of use associated with a project deemed incompatible with these standards, the studio’s creative integrity, or its moral direction.
Moral & Narrative Integrity
EDENFRAME recognizes that certain stories may portray fallen, violent, or morally broken characters as part of a meaningful narrative journey.
Projects addressing themes such as crime, violence, exploitation, or corruption may be considered when these elements are presented within a meaningful narrative context and do not constitute glorification, promotion, or encouragement of such behavior. A work may, for example, explore their consequences, causes, moral conflicts, or possibilities of responsibility, change, repentance, or redemption, without necessarily imposing a particular outcome on the narrative.
However, projects whose purpose is to glorify, promote, normalize, or encourage depravity, exploitation, immorality, or destructive behavior, or to present such behavior as desirable without consideration of its consequences or moral significance, may be refused.
The studio reserves the right to assess each project according to its narrative intent, artistic context, ethical direction, symbolic significance, and long-term consistency with EDENFRAME’s creative and moral standards.
Application & Remedies
Any use outside the license granted or in violation of these Terms may result in the suspension of usage rights, termination of the collaboration, revocation of granted authorizations, and potential legal proceedings.
Any violation of these Terms, ethical standards, or usage restrictions may result, depending on the nature and severity of the violation, in the suspension or revocation of the usage rights and licenses granted with respect to EDENFRAME creations.
In the event of license revocation, the Client may be required to immediately cease all use, distribution, publication, commercialization, or exploitation of original EDENFRAME creations and associated assets.
EDENFRAME may also require, depending on the nature and severity of the violation, the removal, return, destruction, or permanent deletion of the relevant EDENFRAME creations and assets, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Failure to comply with these obligations may result in additional legal action, claims for damages, and the application of remedies provided for under applicable intellectual property laws.
